Can you guess who sleeps where?

Most people that know us can tell....but at least Coki's Lei looks much better than mine, I have a tendency to lean on tables and things so mine was beat up by the time we got home..

Anyway, Coki worked Friday, the big conference day. She is here with Native American Fish and Wildlife Society. They had a conference to teach natives how to manage their resources before the govt steps in and does it for them. Very interesting thing, she will have to talk more about it. I on the other hand, wandered around and looked at the beautiful scenery. Spoke to some nice hawaiians that canoe and surf over by the hotel- people here are so friendly and very spiritual, it is very refreshing.

So then, Friday night, we went out again. Paul came by to grab us at the hotel and take us downtown, not to waikiki. We went to a nice brewery for dinner and met up with Pauls friends. One guy, John, is 6'5" and looks just like Sean Connery, or James Brolin - you be the judge. We had a fantastic time running around, we went to a club called Indigo in the street fair. The fair was down near chinatown in a very interesting part of town, architecture-wise. We screwed around checking out all the local fair booths, especially the hemp booth, Coki's favorite. we shopped til we dropped as always, then headed out in a quest for Brendans and Jamesons. NO ONE had Brendans, even the 2 irish pubs downtown. So, we just had to keep trying substitutes. We then went to dance in the local bar Indigo. There are almost as many beautiful people here as there are in Boulder - but they are much more friendly here. It seems everyone here has an ability to remember to say hi and to enjoy what they do, unlike many folks back home. As usual, we went crazy with the camera. we kept trying to take those pictures where one of us holds the camera out and snaps it, but people just didnt want to let us do that, they kept grabbing the camera- we finally managed to snap a quick one, too bad john cut his head out...

We saw so many weddings here, mostly japanese. Turns out, it is cheaper for Japanese to spend 150 grand to fly their whole families over and then have a wedding here than it is to have it at home. Crazy! No wonder they walk around here buying up everything they can as if Chanel here is actually cheap!

We wandered around a nice little street fair near chinatown. Coki, who cannot resist anyone young or old, just HAD to buy whatever this boy was playing with. He was very cute and did pose for us - out pretty late by himself though!
